In case it helps you with sizing, I took an M. I am a woman (small chest), I am 1.62 m tall and weigh 56 kg, and the size fits me well, even a bit loose.
As for the fabric, it doesn't look "chunky," however when you put it on it's super warm and soft.
The front flap is loose and I wasn't convinced that it would stay in place, so I simply stitched a few stitches on the bottom corner to fix it and that's it.

I don't like this item at all. Neither the material nor the workmanship is high-quality. It feels too much like synthetic fiber. Also, this "cloth" with the cat hangs strangely on the shoulder.

Very cute, as long as you keep in mind the sizing is asian (tmk), it should fit just fine. Quality of fleece isn't amazing but it's good for the cheap price and still comfy.
